Concrete Chicken
Concrete Chicken started as a joint creative project between five friends and long-time frequenters of the West Lafayette house show scene. Made of members formerly in the bands MCK, The Lunar Diamonds, Town Park and Seduce!, Concrete Chicken's psychedelic sound has become a mainstay of the Greater Lafayette music scene. CC has played all over house venues in Greater Lafayette, as well as bars like The Spot and North End Pub. CC also opened for Ghostwoman at the HiFi in Indianapolis and played a set at The Mousetrap. We have a single out on Spotify, a live album on the way and a studio album due to be recorded.
I am the keyboardist in Concrete Chicken. With influences from bands like King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, Pink Floyd and King Crimson, Concrete Chicken's sound is known for its psychedelic grooves, alt rock vibes and prog rock innovation all with a heavy tendency to jam when playing live. Classical Piano
I have been classically trained and been playing the piano since 2012. I passed the ABRSM Grade 8 Performance Examination with Merit and the Grade 5 Music Theory Examination with Distinction. My favourite composers include Bach, Mahler, Rachmaninoff and Chopin.
